The frigid weather we’ve been having lately gives me all the more reason to look back on some of the warmer days this year! Ashley and Jim’s wedding was right on the beach at Windows on the Water at Surfrider Beach Club in Sea Bright, NJ. There was a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean, and we were able to get golden hour photos right on the beach, which were hands down incredible. This duo chose the breathtaking Monmouth University campus for bridal party photos and bride & groom portraits; I loved the elegant and unique architecture that complimented their attire for the day perfectly! If you know me, you know how much I love legacies, so I was so happy to see some family history wedding photos to celebrate the love that came before Ashley and Jim. From the super fun trolley to the stunning platinum diamond bracelet from Ashley’s great-grandmother, every little touch added so much meaning to their special day.
Ashley and Jim have an absolutely contagious sense of humor and kept each other laughing the entire day, which, of course, had me laughing the entire day, as well! Although they live in Baltimore, these newlyweds decided to celebrate in NJ where Ashley’s family is from so they could start this new adventure with their closest friends and family alongside them! I’m so thankful they chose to get married here and asked me to document this huge milestone for them. It was a joy-filled day with an even more joyful couple. Congratulations, Ashley and Jim!
