Maria & Rob | Manasquan Beach House Engagement Session

Maria and Rob first met a couple years ago, during a night out with friends. They instantly connected over both being in the education field and both being Polish, and they’ve been together ever since. Rob proposed to Maria on July 25th, which is also Rob’s mother’s birthday. To get ready for the birthday celebration, Maria started her morning baking muffins and in the kitchen. It was very early, and Maria didn’t even know Rob was awake yet, when she turned around from her mixing bowls to find him down on one knee. Maria said she was in shock! They now had an extra reason to celebrate with their families later! 🙂

When Maria and Rob told me their idea to take engagement photos at a family friend’s beach house, I loved the idea!! The weather forecast was predicted to be unseasonably warm for February with a high of 68 degrees! It started off feeling like springtime, but these temperatures didn’t last long and a cold front came rolling in on the tails of a thick fog. It got chilly…but you’d never know it; Maria and Rob are troopers and handled the cold and the wind like champs! At the end of the shoot we decided to warm up by the fire and take some photos inside, too! 🙂 I had the best time photographing and hanging out with these two. Maria and Rob, I can’t wait to celebrate your wedding day with you this summer!
